Mayfield Tennis Club was founded in 1925, as part of the Mayfield Athletic Club (now Mayfield Sports Club) and lies at the heart of the local Palmer’s Green community. Our facilities are modern and secure, with 5 tennis courts on-site, an attractive garden and seating area and a modern Clubhouse and bar.

Mayfield’s Tennis courts are self contained, secluded and safe. We provide excellent tennis coaching for all ages and abilities.

From coaching to social, practice and competitive inter-club fixtures, Mayfield Tennis offers the right level to those who want to play tennis at reasonable rates. We offer a range of membership packages for adults, students and juniors. Find out more about membership.

Tennis

Mayfield Tennis is always keen to welcome new members – we play tennis all year round! Apart from playing tennis, Mayfield also has a very busy social calendar and is proud of its reputation for being one of the friendliest and most active clubs in North London. Everyone can join in our social activities and you do not have to be a tennis member!

Booking a Court – We have an easy to use court booking facility, accessible to all members.

Club Events

We organise regular events – such as quiz nights and Christmas Dinner, boules tournaments, our fantastic Summer Fete, lots of summer BBQs, country walks, curry nights, an annual Ski Holiday, a tennis summer holiday abroad, weekends away and lots more.  The Club as a whole is also community-conscious, raising several thousand pounds for charity every year through social events and tournaments.

Coaching

Very importantly we offer professional tennis coaching, which is organised and delivered by the Primal Health Tennis Academy Josh Stokes and Ben Stokes and their team of aspiring young tennis coaches. We run a range of courses: coaching groups, private 1-1 tuition, our growing disability tennis sessions and the very popular school holiday tennis camps!
